I just left the storm ravaged area of Western NC to drive to Florida to move my Daughter up with me. We had been flooded in for several days and I left as soon as the water receded enough to drive. Apparently, I filled up my diesel truck with contaminated fuel. I was pulling a trailer when I lost power and was forced to find help. I was very fortunate to have been with in a few miles of O C Welch Ford. I limped my truck into the dealership but was told that they were weeks out on service and repair due to their own problems with Hurricane Helene. After explaining my situation to Rob Steckley, the service advisor, He contacted Rob for a diesel evaluation. My fuel filters were clogged from the contamination. They had been recently changed so we know it was the fuel. In a few hours, They had me on my way just in time to get my Daughter out of Florida as Hurricane Milton destroyed that area. I was so appreciative of them helping me out in a time of need and urgency. I can't express how thankful I am to the staff of O C Welch for what they did for me. Tony Lopresto
This is review of the service department. My Service Advisor was Rob Steckley and he was great! I had a major problem with my 2018 Ford Escape's engine. Rob immediately identified that it was a special "recall/customer satisfaction" issue and that despite being out of warrantee, Ford would take care of it. They scheduled it right away and with fixed the problem. Communications were clear. Rob kept me advised of progress and any delays (due to parts) etc. Thanks Rob, and thanks Ford for standing behind their product. Rich
While no fault of the dealership repairs can sometimes take a couple months due to parts shortages and lead times with coordinating body shops, but Service Advisor Rob Steckley is awesome with communicating and doing all he can to push the repair. I’ve had an Edge get a new engine and an Escape have a new driver’s door replaced under warranty and again, while it took some time, I know Rob did all he could and I’m just glad to have my car back

Rob was terrific. got back to me when asked.almost 2weeks for the tech to diagnose the problem.almost another two weeks for repair,had to return same day to solve engine lite issue
